Back from Wisconsin

FGW has returned to SoHa after our trip to Traverse City and Sheboygan, with a stop in Manitowoc along the way. We had hoped to stop in Sturgeon Bay too, but we had rough conditions on the way to Wisconsin from T.C. (30-knot winds and 8 to 14-foot waves) and had to head directly to Manitowoc. Fortunately, this gave us more time to explore this pleasant town.

Trip highlights:
  • An incident involving the Welcome's British flag (maybe one of those directly involved would care to describe it in the comments section below?), captured on video by Stacy Niedzwiecki
  • The Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
  • The Stage Door Pub, where Sarah K. performed.
  • The fireworks cruise in Sheboygan.

Thanks to everyone who made this trip a success, especially our special guest crewmembers Caitlin/Jenny from Katie D., Mark L., and Andy U.
